Exemption Letter

Exemption LetterExemption letter is an official document, which can be issued only by accredited certification body, for products, which do not fall under obligatory certification according to TR CU. Possibility of obtaining this kind of letter is estimated according to correspondent HS-code.

Practically this document informs that obligatory certificate is not needed for exact type of product.

IMPORTANT! This document is normally required for customs clearance.

 

The following documents are required for obtaining an exemption letter:

  • HS code, product name
  • Technical Description / Operating Instructions
  • Photo / Drawings
  • Agreement and account, as well as the legal address and tax number of the buyer
  • Application
Some other documents can be required additionally depending on a type of products.
IMPORTANT! All the documents must be in Russian language.
IMPORTANT!  ONLY accredited certification body can make a conclusion whether exemption letter is needed for exact product according to the Law of the Republic of Belarus №228 from 31.12.2010. At least HS-code is required for this.
